The preparation balls are made of dressing gauze which complies with the standard EN 14079 type 24. The non-sterile preparation balls are provided with an X-ray thread with barium sulphate. They are used to prepare delicate tissue in the surgical field (for example blood vessels, fine tendons). Before use the product must be sterilized in accordance with a validated sterilization method. Each package contains 1,000 X-Ray preparation balls.
