The gauze ball with rubber ring is made of gauze in compliance with the standard EN 14079 type 20. The non-sterile gauze balls with rubber ring have a woven-in X-ray thread with barium sulphate. They are used to sponge up blood and secretion in the operative area or to clean the operation wound from blood and secretion. The gauze balls have a round shape. Before use the product must be sterilized in accordance with a validated sterilization method. 250 X-Ray gauze balls with rubber ring are packed in a plastic bag.
