The synthetic cast bandage is made of a polyester fabric saturated with a mixture of polyurethane resins. It is individually packed. A chemical reaction of the resins with water makes the material harden within a short time. The finished bandage provides a high stability and is very light. Its X-ray transparency is excellent. The product is suited for fractures after the initial treatment, for treatment with the braces technique, for the production of orthoses and as splint material in the case of inflammatory processes at the tendons and joints of the extremities. One folding box contains 10 bandages.
