The sterile and self-adhesive hydro-colloid dressing is used for damp wound treatment. The dressing is suited for medium to strongly discharging wounds. The hydrocolloid components resolve from the wound pad and absorb the wound secretions. As a result, a gel is created which maintains the damp wound milieu. The gel also prevents an adhesion to the wound and allows a painless and atraumatic bandage change. Depending on the level of exudates, NOBACOLLOID® may be left on the wound between 24 hours and 3-7 days. Physiologic saline solution or Ringer’s solution are used to rinse off the gel. One folding box contains 10 NOBACOLLOID®.
