The 2-ply fenestrated drape consists of two equal parts which can be arranged (affixed) variably so that the resulting fenestration complies exactly with the user’s requirements. Both parts are packed in sterile packaging and belong together as a set. The fenestrated drape is used for the sterile demarcation of the operation field. The external layer consists of a wet-strengthened non-woven which is extremely absorbent and can rapidly absorb liquid. The inner layer is made of a very dense material which is impermeable to moisture, thus providing a reliable barrier protection.
